Outsourced Projects
everal long-term projects are outsourced and are a staple of what Sedona Technologies has become known for. Our philosophy is very entrepreneurial and we have a “can do” attitude to collaborate with our clients for quality results.
Applications Engineering – To take known specifications, complete pre-bid work and generate Bill of Material (BOM) structures that become input for SAP. This includes new product sales, as well as retro-fitting existing units.
Standards Engineering – Sedona Technologies has provided resources to maintain corporate database libraries of standard parts for both mechanical and electrical.
Ongoing Methods and Time-Study Analysis – A team has maintained the above remotely through video capture technology defining assembly line and weld time standards.
Design to specification and prototype build support – Sedona Technologies worked with a local agency to provide a conceptual design when, approved, was design detailed, including structural analysis, to their written specs and resulted in a prototype build. The part count was 200+ and the time required from conceptual design to build was less than 2 months.
